Getting Started
This page will help you get started with your WomoNET.core for the first time.
Installation
The WomoNET.core is designed to be wall-mounted. Keep some distance from adjacent devices to better access the connectors. A minimum of 5cm is recommended.
Here you can find a drilling template to simplify installation:
When installing, make sure that the ambient temperature cannot exceed 50°C and that it does not receive direct sunlight.
Powering the WomoNET.core
The included cable (red & black) is the power supply. The WomoNET.core can be operated with 10-36V. Make sure to properly fuse the positive line (red) with a fuse of maximum 5A.
When the Core is powered, it will start booting. After about one minute, the Core provides a WiFi network named WomoNET-Setup. You can find the password on the included Quick Start Guide.
Opening WomoNET.app and configuring WiFi
When you connect to your WomoNET.core’s WiFi, your smartphone or tablet will prompt you to log in to the WiFi. Follow the instructions and you will be redirected directly to the app. Now you have the option to connect the Core to your WiFi. To do this, enter your WiFi credentials in the form and confirm the process.
The WomoNET.core will now connect to your WiFi. Connect your smartphone or tablet back to your WiFi as well. The WomoNET.core can then be reached at http://womonet-core.local.
You can also use a LAN cable to connect the WomoNET.core to your existing network. To do this, connect the LAN cable to the LAN port of the Core and connect it to your router. The Core will automatically get an IP from the router via DHCP. You can access the app via http://womonet-core.local.
The WiFi LED on the top of the Core shows the connection status:

Resetting WiFi
The configuration can be reset using the WiFi button. Press it for at least 10 seconds. After releasing, the WiFi LED will flash quickly when the Core resets the WiFi to factory settings.
Installing the app on your smartphone or tablet
To install the app on your device, open the browser menu and select “Install app” or a similar option. In Safari, the app can be installed via the share function.
Customizing app layout
The app can be completely configured to your needs. First, create a new layout configuration:
You are now already in edit mode. In this mode, new pages, groups, and widgets can be added.
